Moss & Ember · Apple Vision Pro
Privacy Policy.
Your hands guide the slingshot. Your progress stays on your headset.
Updated 6 September 2026 · version 1.2
The app and this policy
Moss & Ember is a spatial game provided by Feel Digital. This policy describes version 1.2 and these product, support and privacy pages. Contact us at [email protected]. Effective date: 6 September 2026.
The app has no account, advertising, tracking or analytics service. It does not send gameplay, hand tracking, room information or saved progress to Feel Digital. Its game logic and artwork run on the device, without a developer-operated backend or third-party SDK.
Hands and the space around you
With your permission, Apple’s ARKit provides hand joint positions to control the slingshot and detects flat surfaces to place the island. Hand positions and detected surface geometry are used on device during play. The app does not record hand-motion histories, room images or room maps, and does not upload spatial information.
ARKit manages persistent world anchors. The app saves the selected anchor identifier and island scale locally to help restore its position in the room. Selecting and confirming a new location replaces the previous anchor after the new one is added successfully.
You can change Hand Tracking and World Sensing permissions in system Settings. Without hand access, the spatial pouch-drag gesture remains available; without surface detection, the game offers placement in front of you. The app does not request microphone, location-services, contacts or photo-library access.
Local saves and retention
Local app storage contains campaign stars and scores, daily personal bests, mastery medals, daily-goal completion, weekly expedition checkpoints, earned light, companions, tutorial state and preferences. It also contains the placement identifier and scale described above. There is no app-managed cloud synchronization.
The app keeps up to 60 daily personal-best entries, 35 daily-goal records and eight weekly route records, pruning older entries as relevant records are updated. Campaign progress, earned companions and preferences remain until you reset or remove them.
Settings → Reset progress clears game progress and companions; it does not clear preferences or placement. Deleting the app removes its local app data. Apple-managed device backups may retain copies according to your backup settings. ARKit and operating-system storage are managed by visionOS.
Sharing and Apple services
Share your challenge opens the system share sheet with the challenge date and score. The app does not publish it automatically. If you choose a destination and complete sharing, that service handles the shared text under its own practices.
The current app has no In-App Purchases, subscription or remote player communication. Downloads, device backups and any system diagnostics you choose to share with Apple are governed by Apple’s settings and privacy policy, separately from the app’s on-device gameplay.
