Privacy at a glance
- Airleam does not require an account with us.
- The App does not automatically send personal information, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or crash reports to Feel Digital.
- The App contains no advertising, cross-app tracking, analytics services, cookies, or embedded web login.
- Your live audio, video, and any stream metadata you enable are sent directly from your device to the destination you configure. They do not pass through servers operated by Feel Digital.
- Streaming settings remain in the App's local storage. Stream keys and SRT passphrases are stored in the device's system Keychain.
- Optional recordings remain on your device unless you choose to share, move, back up, or upload them.
Information Airleam handles
Camera, microphone, motion, and depth data
Airleam uses the camera and microphone to preview, process, encode, and transmit the live stream you start. Image enhancements are processed on the device.
If stream metadata is enabled, the App may also process device orientation. On supported devices, an optional experimental feature may process depth data. The enabled metadata is embedded in the outgoing stream and is received by the streaming destination you selected. Feel Digital does not receive or retain this content.
Streaming destinations and credentials
To establish a connection, the App handles the destination name, server address, stream key or stream identifier, and, if you use encrypted SRT, its passphrase.
- Destination names, server addresses, selected quality presets, and App preferences are stored locally in the App's settings storage.
- Stream keys, stream identifiers, and SRT passphrases are stored separately in the system Keychain.
- Credentials are used only to build and authenticate the connection you request. Airleam does not send them to Feel Digital.
The destination necessarily receives the stream, connection credentials, your network address, and technical connection information required to operate the stream. Its handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy. Airleam is not an agent of, and does not control, any destination you configure.
Performance information and diagnostics
During a stream, Airleam calculates operational information such as connection state, bitrate, round-trip time, packet loss, sent bytes, dropped frames, stream duration, and thermal status. This information is used on the device to display status and manage stream quality. It is not automatically sent to Feel Digital.
The App lets you open the device's share interface for a diagnostic snapshot. Nothing is shared unless you choose a recipient and confirm the action. Once shared, the recipient handles that information under its own privacy terms.
Local recordings
Local recording is optional and disabled until you turn it on. When enabled, Airleam writes an MP4 file to the App's documents folder using the same encoded audio and video sent to your destination. The App does not automatically upload recordings. You control any later sharing, copying, backup, or deletion through the App and the device's file tools.
Messages sent to support
Airleam does not collect contact details inside the App. If you email us, we will receive the address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to provide. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, protect the App, and meet legal obligations. We retain support correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.
Permissions
Airleam may request the following device permissions:
- Camera: to preview and capture video for your stream and recording.
- Microphone: to capture audio for your stream and recording.
- Local network: to connect to a destination on your local network when you choose one.
You can change these permissions in device settings. Disabling a required permission may prevent the related feature from working. Airleam does not request access to your contacts, precise location, or photo library.
Analytics, advertising, and cookies
Airleam does not use analytics or advertising services, does not create an advertising profile, and does not track you across apps or websites. Because it is a native application without an embedded web login, Airleam does not place or read browser cookies.
The operating system, network provider, device backup service, or streaming destination may process information independently of Airleam. Their practices are controlled by their own terms and settings.
Storage, retention, and deletion
App preferences and non-secret destination settings stay in local App storage until you change them or remove the App's data. Credentials stay in the system Keychain until you remove the related destination from Airleam or otherwise clear them through the operating system. Because Keychain behavior can differ from ordinary App storage, remove saved destinations before uninstalling the App if you want to ensure their credentials are deleted.
Recordings remain in the Airleam documents folder until you delete them. Device backup or synchronization features may copy locally stored information according to the settings of your device and account; Airleam does not control those features.
Security
We designed Airleam to minimize data exposure by keeping settings on the device, placing secrets in the system Keychain, and avoiding developer-operated relay and analytics services. However, no device, network, or storage method is completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your device and credentials and for choosing a trustworthy destination. The confidentiality of a stream in transit depends on the protocol and server you configure. Use an encrypted connection whenever your destination supports one.
Third-party streaming destinations
You may need a separate account with the destination that receives your stream. Account registration, moderation, viewer access, age requirements, storage, distribution, and deletion at that destination are outside Airleam's control. Review the destination's privacy policy before connecting or going live, and contact it directly regarding data it holds.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can control information handled locally by Airleam by:
- changing or revoking device permissions;
- editing or deleting saved destinations and credentials;
- changing or deleting custom presets and preferences;
- deleting local recordings; and
- deciding whether and where to share a recording or diagnostic snapshot.
Depending on where you live, privacy law may also give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to processing of personal information held by an organization. Feel Digital cannot retrieve or delete live streams, account details, or other information held by a destination because we do not receive or control it. Direct those requests to the relevant destination. For information you sent directly to Feel Digital, such as a support email, contact us using the address below.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Children
Airleam is not designed specifically for children, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the App. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor's use of live-streaming tools and confirm that the chosen destination permits the minor to use its service. Age verification and audience controls at a destination are that destination's responsibility.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Airleam's features, data practices, or legal obligations change. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, when required, provide an additional notice. The version in effect when you use the App applies to that use.
